The Deputy Minister of Defense Reviewed the Readiness of the Pindad Production Line from Maung to Ag

Chief Executive Officer of PT Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose and the Board of Directors welcomed the working visit of the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia, Sakti Wahyu Trenggono who was accompanied by the Dirjen Kuathan Youth Marshal TNI Nicolas Ponang Djawoto, Dirjen Renhan TNI Youth Marshal Doddy Trisunu, Kabaranahan Major General TNI Budi Prijono , Dirrenprogar Dirjen Renhan First Admiral TNI Supo Dwi Diantara along with other entourage at the Pindad Bandung Directorate Building on Friday, August 28, 2020.

The Deputy Minister of Defense's working visit to PT Pindad (Persero) in order to review the readiness of Pindad in supporting national defense, both from a defense and non-military or industrial perspective.

In terms of defense, the Deputy Minister reviewed the production lines of Anoa, Badak, Komodo Tactical Vehicles, Harimau Medium Tanks and the latest Maung light tactical vehicle production line. He also tried to direct Maung's performance accompanied by the CEO, Abraham Mose.

From an industrial perspective, the Deputy Minister of Defense and his entourage reviewed agronomic innovation for agricultural machine tools (Alsintan) including multipurpose tractors, planting rota, combine harvester and paddy dryer. He also reviewed heavy equipment, especially the excavator made by Pindad, which is currently available in various variants such as Excava 200 (20 ton), Excava Long Arm, Excava Amphibious and Excava 50 (5 ton).

The visit of the Deputy Minister of Defense was to see that the agricultural machine tools produced by Pindad have something to do due to the implementation of a national food security improvement program, called a new food estate or barn, to anticipate the impact of the outbreak during the pandemic.
