Pindad signs a MoU with Indonesian Defense and Security Technologies

CEO of PT Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in the field of defense and security with the CEO of PT Indonesian Defense and Security Technologies (IDST), Emrah Dundar on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 in the Lobby Room of PT Pindad (Persero), Turen, Malang. The signing of the MoU was carried out as the first step to initiate cooperation for both parties.

PT Pindad (Persero) with PT Indonesian Defense and Security Technologies agreed on cooperation in various forms, including investment, MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul), Sales & Marketing, Technology Transfer, Strategic Suppliers, Funding and various other agreements contained in MoU. The signing of the MoU was witnessed by the Chief Business of Defense and Security Products Officer, Wijil Jadmiko Budi; Chief of Technology and Development Officer, Ade Bagdja; Chief of Business Strategy Officer, Syaifuddin and the echelon 1 ranks of PT Pindad (Persero).

In his speech, Abraham Mose stated that PT Pindad (Persero) was grateful for the cooperation opportunity that had been given and was a great momentum between PT Pindad (Persero) and IDST. “Hopefully this cooperation will produce a win win cooperation, a joint solution to produce things that are beneficial for both parties. Furthermore, if there are things that need to be added in the future, Pindad is ready to support and establish further relationships,” said Abraham Mose.

The activity was then continued by reviewing Pindad munitions production facility located in Turen, Malang. The production facility of PT Pindad (Persero) is located in Turen specifically to produce munitions, explosives and bombs. PT Pindad (Persero) has produced several variants of munitions, both small caliber munitions; Cal. 5.56mm, Cal. 7.62mm, Cal. 9.19mm, large caliber munition; Cal. 90mm, Cal. 105mm, Hand Grenades to Bombs. In the future, Pindad will continue to develop defense and security products and industrial products to support national defense and development.
