2014 PT Pindad (Persero) Annual Meeting

In order to formulate the best company strategy for 2014, was held the 2014 PT Pindad (Persero) Annual Meeting. This event was held at Sheraton Hotel Kuta, Bali on January 28^th-30^th 2014. This event was attended by PT Pindad (Persero) Board of Directors, the high level officials, and the related division staffs.

Theme for this annual meeting was A Big Step towards The Excellence PT Pindad. The big step was formed by setting the sales target amounted 2.03 Trillion Rupiahs. This years target was the highest target that have decided by the company and needed an extra effort from all related parties to reach it. This was quite hard challenge, because back on 2013, there were so many obstacles, both internal and external, which occurred and affected the target achievement. 

The annual meeting was contained the action plan from each division to reach the sales target which has stated. Each division was also explained their identification towards the obstacles that they faced on the target achievement process and also the supports that they needed, both from internal or external parties.

In addition to the divisions presentation about the target achievement plan, was also discussed some important company issues such as human resources and organization, corporate image management, security, guarantee the quality of the production process and the final outcome, as well as some of the problems of internal control from the operational support units such as the Corporate Secretary, Security Center, Quality Assurance, and Internal Auditor Unit.

The Annual Meeting was closed by the Annual Meeting resume reading which contained directions from the Board of Directors and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) signing by the Head Units and Head Divisions. The KPI points were the indicator of performance successfulness from each divisions and units. KPI was expected to be the reference to carry out activities that were performed throughout the year 2014.
