Regent of Belitung and Entourage Visit Pindad

Chief Business of Industrial Products of PT Pindad (Persero), Heri Heriswan received a working visit from the Regent of Belitung, Sahani Saleh accompanied by the Belitung Regional Secretary, MZ Hendra Caya and his staff on Thursday, September 10, 2020. The agenda of this visit was intended to review PT Pindad (Persero)'s products especially in the industrial sector (non-defense and security) as well as initiating potential future cooperation. One of the products that received the attention of the Regent of Belitung and his ranks was the excavator & tractor product.

Heri Heriswan in his speech warmly welcomed the arrival of the Regent of Belitung and his entourage and explained non-military Pindad products for use in Belitung.

“Welcome to the Regent of Belitung and its complete ranks. Apart from the defense industry, Pindad also has a directorate that makes industrial products. Products such as excavators of various variants and Agricultural Machine Tools (Alsintan) could be an opportunity for cooperation, "explained Heri Heriswan.

Meanwhile, Sahani Saleh said that the purpose of his visit was to review various Pindad products and open opportunities for cooperation and investment development in the Belitung area.

"Our arrival along with the entourage is to review quality products of the nation's children and it is possible that Pindad may be interested in investing in the Belitung area," explained Sahani Saleh.

Before closing the visit, Pindad gave the Regent of Belitung the opportunity to try to shoot using Pindad's superior weapons, namely SS2-V4, G2 Combat Pistol, and Armo Pistol. Sahani Saleh and his entourage agreed to praise the accuracy and reliability of the weapons they used.
