Capstan is a mooring system that exists between the ship and the dock. PT Pindad (Persero) produces Capstan under the name PinMarine, using an electric or hydraulic drive system. The main driving force of an electric capstan is a motor with a reducer gear that can be positioned above or below the ship's deck. Meanwhile the hydraulic capstan has a hydraulic motor with a reducer gear as the main driving force.

Capstan is designed to tensile strength of 10 tons with a variety of designs as you wish (customized).
