Dirtekbang Pindad conveyed matters on National Defense Industry’s independence & development

Chief of Technology & Development of PT Pindad (Persero), Ade Bagdja conveyed matters to Student Officers (Pasis) Dikreg XLVIII Sesko TNI FY 2021 at a strategic object visit activity held on June 14, 2021 at Sesko TNI Bandung.

Ade Bagdja delivered matter on the instruction from the President. Minister of Defense and Minister of SOEs on the independence of defense industry and the concept of SOEs of defense industry holding called “Defend Id”. Furthermore, Chief of Technology & Development of PT Pindad (Persero) explained about Pindad’s profile, current capabilities and production capacity, innovations and developments carried out as well as Pindad’s role in national defense industry development.

The conditions and situation of Covid-19 pandemic have affected the implementation of strategic object visits which under normal conditions visit directly to each strategic object location.

However, at this time the leadership of strategic object who was present was giving presentation material to Pasis Dikreg XLVIII FY 2021 at Sesko TNI. Besides Pindad, there are several other strategic objects, called SOEs of defense industry and private company.

Dirbinjemen Sesko TNI Brigadier General TNI Abdulrahman who read the remarks from the Commander of Sesko TNI, Marsda TNI Diyah Yudanardi said that this activity was aimed so that the Pasis Dikreg XLVIII Sesko TNI could find and collect the data needs as analysis material in order to provide ideas that were outlined in writing about the ability of strategic objects in supporting the main tasks of TNI. In addition, the information data obtained can be used as study material on the empowerment of defense industry so that the results can be projected beneficial for developing and building the strength and capabilities of TNI.

This activity was attended by participants consist officers from the Army, Air Force, Navy with the rank of big commissioner.
