CEO Leads PT Pindad’s 2023 Work Meeting with the Theme Pindad Pro-Fit with Excellence Performance
PT Pindad held the 2023 Work Meeting (Raker) on Tuesday, May 9th 2023 located at the Mason Pine Hotel, Kota Baru Parahyangan. This annual agenda is led by the Board of Directors, followed by Echelon 1 ranks of all Directorates, Directors of the Company's Subsidiaries and attended by all Union Chairmen. The 2023 Pindad Working Meeting carried the theme "Pindad Pro-Fit with Excellence Performance" with the word PRO which consists of Performance (company performance exceeding target), Risk (controlling risk) and Operational (operational cost efficiency and production effectiveness). Meanwhile, the word FIT consists of Fit (fit physically, spiritually, personnel and finances of a healthy company), Interest (minimizing interest expense) and Time (100% on time delivery).
The 2023 Working Meeting aims to agree on detailed targets per division/unit to support the achievement of company targets set out in the RKAP. The main points of discussion in the Work Meeting are strategic matters, which are an executive summary of the technical discussions in the Pre Meeting. The main agenda of the 2023 Raker is discussing the 2023 strategic program, signing management contracts and signing commitments.
The PT Pindad’s 2023 Work Meeting began with the direction of the CEO of PT Pindad, Abraham Mose. He said that it was necessary to reorganize & transform PT Pindad with the aim of anticipating and adapting to today's competition. “Currently we are in a complex situation with many changes, uncertain business situations and policies that we cannot control. One of the steps we can take is to adapt & transform through organizational restructuring. I also encourage all elements of the company to always be in line and collaborate so that they are agile in anticipating the current situation.” Abraham Mose explained.
Abraham Mose also explained the focus of PT Pindad's improvement strategy through 2 big points based on the results of mapping operational performance, profitability, liquidity and solvency. The first focus is Business Transformation which includes 5 steps, namely Business process & governance improvement, bidding excellence, operational excellence, revenue enhancement and cost optimization. Then the second focus is financial restructuring through liquidify acceleration & debt restructuring.
After receiving directions from the CEO, the 2023 Working Meeting continued with a leadership session by Zulkifli Zaini as the Main Commissioner of PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero). In the session, Zulkifli said that substantive improvement is not a coincidence and is instantaneous, but requires transformation, improvement from time to time and change management. He also explained that leadership includes 5 points, namely making decisions quickly & confidently, the ability to mobilize stakeholder support, being able to adapt proactively, being reliable & trusted and creating & using networks.
The Pindad Work Meeting was then followed by presentations by each Directorate through the relevant VP/GM to formulate corporate strategy and technical steps to be implemented in 2023. In the closing statement of the Work Meeting, Abraham Mose expressed the hope that this Work Meeting could be a moment for a more comprehensive transformation of the company. Good.
