CEO of Pindad handover ventilators to supports hospital needs in Gorontalo
Chief Executive Officer of PT Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose accompanied by the Corporate Secretary; Krisna Cahyadianus and President Director of PT Pindad Enjiniring Indonesia (PEI); Sena Maulana symbolically handed over Pindad ventilator product to the Chairperson of LAMAHU, Dr. H. Abdul Haris Bobihu, S.Sos, M.Si, at the Nusantara V MPR RI Building on Sunday, November 29, 2020. The symbolic handover of ventilator products was carried out at the Lamahu VIII Grand Conference 2020. The event was attended by several important national figures, among others, the Deputy Chairman of the MPR RI; Prof. Dr. Ir. Fadel Muhammad, Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian Parliament; Dr. Rachmad Gobel, Ambassador of Bosnia - Herzegovina; Drs. Roem Kono and Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Council who participated in online activities; General TNI (Ret.) Dr. H. Wiranto, S.H., M.M.
Pindad's ventilator is intended to support various hospitals in Gorontalo to tackle Covid-19. Currently, PT Pindad (Persero) has been certified and has produced 2 ventilator variants, namely Pindad VRM & Covent-20 which is the result of collaboration with the University of Indonesia.
In his speech, the General Chairperson of LAMAHU, Dr. H. Abdul Haris Bobihu, S.Sos, M.Si, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the handover of the innovative ventilator product of PT Pindad (Persero). "At the previous virtual meeting, we already knew that Pindad contributed to the Covid-19 pandemic by creating a ventilator. We are proud, the CEO of Pindad as Putra Gorontalo is called for humanitarian action." Abdul Haris explained
After handing over the ventilator product symbolically, Abraham Mose explained
that initially Pindad which had the main products of weapons, munitions and
combat vehicles, was doubtful for producing medical products, especially
ventilators. "Ladies and gentlemen, we don't need to worry, our
ventilators have gone through a series of processes and have been certified by
BPFK. I am also trying to provide more ventilators to hospitals in Gorontalo
after various inputs at the Lamahu Headquarters today." Abraham Mose
explained.
In the Covid-19 pandemic, PT Pindad (Persero) is called to contribute by creating various innovative products, including ventilators, mobile sterilization chambers and mobile disinfectant spray canons. (Raka)
