DSA 2014 : Hope to Conquer ASEAN

PT Pindad (Persero), along with other fifteen Indonesia defence companies was participated on 2014 Defence Services Asia (DSA) which held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on April 14^th-17^th 2014. This 2014 Malaysia DSA is an defence industry product exhibition that held every two years and participated by 1000 companies from 50 countries.

PT Pindad (Persero) was grouped into Indonesia pavilion along with other five State Owned Enterprie Companies such as PT Indonesian Aerspace (Persero), PT Dahana (Persero), PT LEN Industri (Persero), and PT Dok Kodja Bahari (Persero). The Indonesian defence company participation was one of Indonesia government strategy implementation on advancing domestic defence industry from some of other defence strategies which used for strengthening the power of national defence industry, such as development, cooperation, and promotion strategy.

Compatible with that, the Head of Indonesia Delegation, Sjafrie Sjamsoedin said that Indonesia defence companies participations were in order to show that Indonesia has a high quality defence products. Furthermore, those high quality products are able to talk a lot in ASEAN regional defence industry competition.

Of course it is the hope of every Indonesia defence company to be successful in Southeast Asia, including PT Pindad (Persero). Hopefully, the participation in the 2014 DSA could be the beginning to show the name of the Indonesia defense industry in ASEAN, Asia, even the world. (Anggia)
