ERP Go Live Event of Commercial Explosive Division

Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) which had entered the third stage at PT Pindad (Persero) was ready to be implemented at Commercial Explosive Division. It was officially started with ERP Go Live of Commercial Explosive Division event on Wednesday, November 6^th 2013. This event was held at the Education and Training Department and was attended by the end users, key users, BPO, and the Head Departments of Commercial Explosive Division.

The ERP implementation process at Commercial Explosive Division had through 4 months journey. Started from the kick-off event back in July 2013, Commercial Explosive Division was successfully fulfilled the target to go live at the beginning November 2013. Before successfully reached the Go Live event, Commercial Explosive Division had through some processes such as End User Training, User ID Preparation, Support Plan, until User Documentation, Communication Pre-Go Live, and Readiness Survey.

One thing to note from this event was from the entire ERP activities at Commercial Explosive Division, started blueprint until the configuration process had been successfully concluded and implemented without any pending logging transaction or backlog. This was the reason that made the ERP Go Live for Commercial Explosive Division on time and the key users and end users were ready to apply the ERP on every work activities.  

This event was closed by Job Description giving and Key User pin embedding as a sign that key users support were ready to be a support team for the end users, so the entire end users were ready to use the ERP system. Hopefully, the performance effectiveness at Commercial Explosive Division would lead to operational excellence which became the main target of this ERP system application. (Anggia)
