Kadislitbangau visits Pindad, Builds Synergy for Alutsista Cooperation

Chief of Technology and Development of PT Pindad, Sigit P. Santosa accompanied by VP Innovation, Windhu Paramarta welcomed a visit from the Head of Research and Development Office of Indonesian Air Force (Kadislitbangau), Marsma TNI Iwan Agung Djumaeri and Sesditltbangau, Colonel Lek Stefanus Arif and his entourage on Tuesday, January 10 2023 in Auditorium Pindad Bandung.

The visit of Kadislitbangau this time is the initial stage of initiation for collaboration and synergy in the future so that there are more opportunities for collaboration between Dislitbangau and Pindad.

“Thank you for the visit of Kadislitbangau, Marsma TNI Iwan Agung Djumaeri to Pindad. We are all very proud that the collaboration between Pindad and Dislitbangau continues to grow. One of the collabroations between Pindad and Dislitbangau, namely MK-1, MK-82, is one of our research priorities. We are very open to other collaborations, perhaps in terms of weapons for the Indonesian Air Force,” Sigit explained.

Head of Research and Development Office of Indonesian Air Force (Kadislitbangau), Marsma TNI Iwan Agung Djumaeri in his remarks expressed his gratitude for Pindad’s greeting. Kadislitbangau hopes that this visit will open opportunities for wider cooperation between Dislitbangau and Pindad.

“Dislitbangau is the spearhead of Indonesian Air Force in establishing cooperation with industry and academia, one of which is Pindad. We appreciate the young engineers from Pindad and Dislitbangau for acquiring propellant technology. In 2023, cooperation will continue for the next stage, namely a 1:1 scale of double base for 70 mm caliber rockets. We are confident that together we can advance and support the advancement of defense equipment system,” said Marsma TNI Iwan Agung Djumaeri.

The visit was then followed by an inspection of Weapons and Special Vehicles production facilities.
