Foreign Service School of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Visit to PT Pindad (Persero)

About 59 persons from Sekolah Dinas Luar Negeri (Foreign Service School) or Sekdilu of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, visited PT Pindad (Persero), Tueday, May 7^th, 2013. The group which led by Ben 

Perkasa Drajat, accepted by Deputy Director of Resources Development, Irfanul Kamal at Auditorium, Directorate Building of PT Pindad (Persero).

This diplomat candidates visit was in order to know how far the ability of Indonesia to produce the weaponry system equipments, through the PT Pindad (Persero) capability all this time. Moreover, the comprehension about weaponry system equipments, might be needed if they were placed at many foreign countries to promote this capability of Indonesia, and could grow a special pride about their own nation in themselves.  

After the activity at the auditorium ended, the group visit the production facilities which owned by PT Pindad (Persero). They visited Special Vehicle Division for directly see the production and assembling process of some Anoa Pansers. When the group were in assembling area, the diplomat candidates looked so interested with Anoa Panser which been used for peace keeping mission at Lebanon.   

The visit continued by a plan tour to production facilities which belong to Industrial Machinery and Service Division. The production facilities for airbrake system and marine equipment products attracted the candidates to ask further about the detail of these leading commercial products of PT Pindad (Persero).

The visit to Industrial Machinery and Service Division ended that day’s activity. (Gia/Ben)
