Visited Pindad, Commission 1 of DPR RI Praised Pindad's Capability and Ability

President Director of PT. Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose received a working visit of Commission 1 of DPR RI led by Junico Siahaan at the Main Directorate of Pindad Bandung (11/22). The list of members of Commission 1 who took part in the visit included Yan Permenas Mandenas, Fadli Zon, Muhammad Farhan, Helmy Faishal Zani, Syaifullah Tamliha, and Almuzzammil Yusuf. The agenda of this visit was announced to see the latest capabilities of Pindad and to see the defense industry as a partner of the Commission 1.

President Director, Abraham Mose in his welcoming speech also expressed his pride at the visit , "Representing all employees of Pindad, we welcome the Honorable Commission 1 of DPR RI. It is an honour for us to be able to show you our primary and superior products. We hope we can get approval and can talk about the strategic plan of PT. Pindad which will always going forward. " said Abraham.

The head of Commission 1 visit team, Junico Siahaan expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome from Pindad and stated that the visit was important given Pindad's position as part of the strategic defense industry, "Thank you for the good support from Pindad. We hope that from the visit of the Commission 1, we will get to know more about the defense industries and also can facilitate their requirements, especially Pindad, so that they can become a concern in the government, " stated Junico.

Towards company profile presentation, the members of Commission 1 expressed their admiration and interest in Pindad products that were capable of quality and dependability in the field, improved combat vehicle products and weapons, increased competency to produce products that could be performed on the international competition, both for weapons products that won the international competition and combat vehicle product that has been operated by the United Nations. Muhammad Farhan also advised that Pindad could be an important player in the collaboration and development of the identity of the city of Bandung as a center for the domestic defense industry.

Fadli Zon also expressed his support for Pindad as one of the main pillars for the domestic defense industry, "I think we need to prioritize Pindad as our pride , especially the purchase and procurement of weapons from Pindad, which is proven to be very advanced, sophisticated and championship level-tier. We also witness combat vehicles that can be relied upon to be used by Peacekeepers and in accordance with international standards. I think all members of Commission 1 agreed to support Pindad as one of the main pillars of the domestic defense industry that always continues to produce great products, " stated Fadli.

The group then had the opportunity to watch the parade of special vehicles, see the display of weapons and try to shoot using weapons products manufactured by Pindad such as SS2-V5 A1 and PM3.

Before ending the activity, Junico Siahaan expressed his confidence in Pindad's ability, "Based on the direction of the Minister of Defense who has a view on the development of the domestic defense industry in accordance with the mandate of the law, we have high hopes for Pindad and all other defense strategic industries to be able to develop their potential to become potential respected company all over the world. We have the capacity to be a respected company in the field of defense equipment and this is what we hope for.
