PT Pindad (Persero) Participation at 2013 Hakteknas Soft Launching

In order to welcome the 18^th Hari Kebangkitan Teknologi Nasional (National Technology Resurrection Day) or Hakteknas that will be held at August 29^th-September 1^st 2013, the Ministry of Research and Technology along with The Agency of The Assessment and Application of Technology, National Institute of Aeronautics and Space, Indonesian Institute of Science, and some of representatives from the related companies, held a Soft Launching for the 18^th Hakteknas for the Year 2013. This event held on June 27^th 2013, 2^nd Lobby BPPT Building, Central Jakarta. The Minister of Research and Technology, Gusti Muhammad Hatta as the builder, pleased to open this event, accompanied by Minister of Defence, Purnomo Yusgiantoro. PT Pindad (Persero) itself, represented by the President Director, Adik Avianto Soedarsono.

The event which themed “Innovation for Nation Advancement” is an annual event of Ministry of Research and Technology which started by the first flight of N 250 Plane on 1995. This event was an appreciation for the nation citizen who able to create an innovation for the Indonesia technology advancement. The citizen participation for advancing the technology is very important because one of a sign of nation advancement is the technology advancement, and hopefully on the future, the industrial world as the technology user will depend of the technology which developed by the nation citizen.  

PT Pindad participated on this event by displayed some of new products which just introduced to the public such as SPR 2 with 12,7 mm caliber which already equipped by a deduction of vibration and silencer, Cloud Seeding Agent CoSAT 1000, Tactical Vehicle 4x4 Komodo, and also the RHAN 1210 Rocket which is a joint project along with Ministry of Research and Technology, Indonesian Navy, The Agency of The Assessment and Application of Technology, National Institute of Aeronautics and Space, some of universities and institutes (ITB, ITS, UGM, and UNDIP), and also some State Owned Enterprise companies such as PT Indonesian Aerospace, PT LEN, Krakatau Steel, and PT Dahana. The president director of PT Pindad also gave a mock up of PT Pindad Multiple Launch Rocket System vehicle to Ministry of Research and Technology and Ministry of Defence.

If the electric car got the spotlight on last year Hakteknas, some technologies which got a spotlight on the soft launching event were more engaged in defence and aerospace field. Beside the defence products from PT Pindad, some other technologies which displayed were : the UAV PUNA with three various kind such as Wulung, Alap-alap, and Sriti which born from a collaboration between The Agency of The Assessment and Application of Technology and Research and Development Agency of Ministry of Defence; A2 Satelite, UAV LSU 02, and RX-450 Rocket from National Institute of Aeronautics and Space; KSW500 Steel Plate from Krakatau Steel; Pentolite Booster Dayaprime which owned by Dahana; Combat Management System, Tactical Data Link Solution, and Radar Processing and Display Console from PT LEN;  N 212, N 235, N 295, N 219 Plane mock ups from PT Indonesian Aerospace; and also Multirotor from Bandung Institute of Technology.

This soft launching event was the opening from the series of Hakteknas events until the upcoming August 29^th 2013. The highlight of the 2013 Hakteknas would be held at Parking Area Keong Mas, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah with various events like workshop and talkshow, Ritech Expo Exhibition, National Coordination Meeting, carnaval, and a variety of side events such as fun bike, science contest, robotic olympic, and various science competitions.
