Strengthening Synergy, BUMNIS and BUMN Ministry Held Crisis Handling Communication Workshop

BUMN Strategic Industries (BUMNIS) in collaboration with the Ministry of BUMN held a Crisis Handling Communication Workshop on October 18th, 2019 at Ratu Boko Temple Tourism Park (TWC), Sleman, Yogyakarta. The workshop presented the President Director of PT Krakatau Steel, Silmy Karim presenting company crisis material in a leader perspective and former Corsec & VP Garuda Indonesia Corporate Communication & Citilink Indonesia presenting the rise and fall of reputation material.

The event was attended by the Deputy Assistant for Strategic and Media, Mining Industry Business  II (PISM), Heri Purnomo, Directors, Corporate Secretary and 80 employees of BUMNIS.

Workshops participants, BUMNIS are expected to be able to understand the handling of crisis in accordance with the procedures and synergy of SOEs. Good crisis management is very important for BUMNIS because manufacturing is a sector that is expected to help contribute in reducing the deficit of the trade sector and also it is expected to increase more added value.

The Deputy of PISM Business Sector, Fajar Harry Sampurno was also present at the gala dinner which held of a series of BUMNIS awards, 2018 IBD Expo & Indodefence committee reports, and Primisima batik fashion shows.

Fajar Harry Sampurno in his remarks stated the types of the exhibitions participated by BUMN. "There are 3 types of exhibitions , those are Public Relations, marketing and sales. IBD Expo is for PR-related, Indodefence is marketing-related while Inotrans is sales-related. Thank you for the success of those exhibition events. In the future, manufacturing sector will be successful again, BUMN have grown tremendously in the last 5 years," said Fajar

The Ministry of BUMN through the Assistant Deputy of PISM II. Heri Purnomo was also delivered the appointment of PT DI as the coordinator and PT PAL as the deputy coordinator for the Indodefence 2020 exhibition. Meanwhile PT Inka was appointed as the coordinator for RITECH Expo 2020 and PT Pindad as the deputy coordinator.
