Pindad Held a Joint Halal Bihalal Cycling with TNI and Polri

PT Pindad (Persero) held a Joint Halal Bihalal Cycling with Indonesian National Army (TNI), Indonesian National Police (Polri) and various bicycle communities to strengthen friendship through positive and healthy activities on Saturday, June 22, 2019. The participants was sent off by the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army (Wakasad), Lt. Gen. TNI Tatang Sulaiman and President Director of PT.Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose.

This Halal Bihalal Cycling were attended by around 350 participants consisting of Army Cycling Club from Indonesian National Army Headquarter (Mabes AD), Pindad Cycling Community, Puster, 86, West Java Regional Police, Siliwangi Regional Military Command, Kodiklat Pussenif, National Defense and High Tech Industries (NDHI) representatives and other cycling communities.

The traveled route was 53 km, from Bandung to Sumedang. Starting from Pindad Bandung head office, heading to Jl. Soekarno Hatta, Cibiru, Cibiru Roundabout, Padjajaran University Jatinangor (Stage 1), Cadas Pangeran Monument, Kuda Monument, Binokasih Monument, Alamsari Roundabout and finish line at Saung Teko, Sumedang

In his remarks, Abraham Mose said this activity was aimed to strengthen the relationship and synergy of Pindad with the TNI and Polri through cycling activities.

"Thanks to God, we can get here from Bandung to Sumedang safely. The route around 53 km was passed with many interesting sights and fresh air. Hopefully this activity will be beneficial, healthy, strengthen our togetherness and promote the synergy of all of us," Abraham said.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army (Wakasad), Lt. Gen. Tatang Sulaiman appreciated the initiation of Pindad and the support from all parties to make the event be a success.

"Thank you to the President Director of Pindad who has initiated this Halal Bihalal event, supported by TNI and Polri so that it is truly prepared and well-planned." said Tatang.

"A special message for the cyclists is there is no heavy obstacles as long as we practice. The army also practices through training courses. Alhamdulillah, today we carry out the cycling event safely. There are a lot hairpin curve, crook, and potholes along the route so we have to concentrate and focus, "continued Tatang

The regent of Sumedang, Donny Ahmad Munir, thanked Pindad, TNI and Polri for choosing Sumedang as the destination and the place of finish line.

"Thank you for your trust, hopefully Sumedang will become the official route of cycling event in the future, riding pass through the legendary Cadas Pangeran. Sumedang recently is boosting the tourism sector, one of which is sport tourism through cycling activities like this and later there will be paragliding site in the Jatigede Economic Zone (KEK).
