Sus Spes Das Pal Kopassus Student 2nd Phase Job Training at PT Pindad (Persero)
On the date September 23rd 2013, PT Pindad (Persero) visited by 31 students of Sus Spes Das Pal Kopassus 2nd Phase who would do a job training at PT Pindad. The group accepted by Deputy Director of Sales and Marketing, Triyono Andri Susilo at Auditorium Directorate Building. This event were also attended by Head of 1st Production Department of Weapon Division, Head of 2nd Production Department of Weapon Division, and representative of 2nd Production Department of Special Vehicle Division.
The job training was a part that should through by the students in order to directly see the complete process behind the making of the weaponry system product, such as weapons and combat vehicle. When they were accepted at the auditorium, they were given a chance to ask various question about Pindad weaponry system products before directly see it at the production facilities.
During their presence at PT Pindad, the students were given a chance to visit the production facilities for the main weaponry products, such as Weapon Division and Special Vehicle Division. The students got an explanation about the making process of the long riffles weapon and the handguns at 1st and 2nd Production Department. Moreover, they also got a brief training about the disassembling and assembling process G2 handgun and SS2 assault rifles. They enthusiastically watched how the instructor displayed the way how to disassemble the weapons to the small parts then put it back together.
When they visited Special Vehicle Division, they didn’t waste this opportunity by asked many questions in detail to the informant who guided them at 1st and 2nd Production Department of Special Vehicle Division. They asked many things such as the raw materials of the product, some supporting materials, until the operating system.
The visit at Special Vehicle Division was a closing of their job training activity that day. Hopefully, the knowledge which they got at PT Pindad that day could be useful for supporting their work in the future. (Anggia)
