Pindad Partnership & Community Development Program Supported the Health of Indonesian Veterans Membe

PT Pindad (Persero) 's Partnership and Community Development Program (PKBL) facilitated Medical Check Up (MCU) services for Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia of West Java Province on Thursday, November 7th, 2019 at Pindad General Hospital in Bandung. The event was attended by 50 veterans who came from regional representatives of the DPD LVRI West Java Province, Bandung City, Bandung Regency, West Bandung Regency and Cimahi City.

The MCU, which was attended by veteran members, was held to commemorate National Heroes Day which falls on November 10th. The event was welcomed enthusiastically by Indonesian Veterans who had entered old age. This activity is a dedication from the Company to the services of the national heroes in defending the sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia, and the most important is the attention to veterans who have struggled to defend the motherland from the hands of foreign invaders.

In his speech the Director of Finance and Administration, Wildan Arief, hoped that the program would provide benefits and be carried out routinely in the future. "In the future, this program hopes that it can become a routine program so that veterans can experience a healthier life and a better quality of life to be able to move," he said.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian Veterans Legion DPD West Java appreciated this program which was beneficial for veterans. "Thank you to the Board of Directors of PT Pindad (Persero) and Hospital Director and the committee. Examinations like this are very helpful for Veterans to find out and maintain the health condition of each and hope there are other programs that can be synergized between Pindad and LVRI of West Java Province.

"We are very pleased to be invited to run a free health check-up. Current activities are invited while there are only 50 veterans, so that more can be done. We hope that the health check program will continue because veterans really need it," he said. on the sidelines of the Medical Check Up (MCU) examination at Pindad General Hospital, Bandung. (Aldi)
