Indonesian Womens Congress visits PT Pindad (Persero)

Indonesian Womens Congress (Kowani) visits PT Pindad (Persero) on Monday, June 15, 2015. Led by Professor Masyitoh, a Chairwoman of Coordinator of Education, Science and Technology, and Culture, the group was welcomed by Head of Legal and Risk Management, Tuning Rudyati, at Graha Pindad. On behalf of PT Pindad (Persero), we are honored to have you with us, a representative of Indonesian organizations joined in Kowani, says Tuning Rudyati on her welcome speech.

Further, Tuning hopes that this visit could bring a further knowledge to the members of Kowani regarding to PT Pindad as a countrys pride defense industry. When watching the company profile and taking the plant tour, we can see how massive it is the nations asset in developing and strengthening the defense of the nation, Tuning continues.  

The team leader, Profesor Masyitoh, says that this visit is one of the work programs of Kowani for the new management which had just appointed in December 2014. This visit is actually one of the work programs of Kowani under the coordination of education, science and technology, and culture for the new management which had just appointed on December 2014, she says.

She continues that through this visit, the members of Kowani coming from all around Indonesia could get the chance to get to know PT Pindad (Persero) further. We really want to know further about Pindad, knowing its products, how and to where the productions are sent, and what does it give to the nations. Moreover, we also want to know a possibility of having a cooperation between Pindad and Kowani since Kowani is a set of 86 organizations in a nation-scale which its programs cover various aspects in society, Masytoh continues.

The event was closed by visiting to some of productions plants at PT Pindad, such as Special Vehicle Division and Weapon Division. On this tour, the group got the chance to try the products performance, such as 6x6 Anoa Combat Vehicle and SS2 assault rifles.
