PT Pindad (Persero) annual meeting 2021 : Adaptive to be a Champion

PT Pindad (Persero) held a 2021 annual meeting (Raker) on Thursday & Friday, March 18-19, 2021 held online and continued to comply with the health protocols that were in during the Covid-19 pandemic. This annual agenda is chaired by the Board of Directors, followed by Echelon 1 ranks of all Directorates, Directors of Subsidiaries, and Union Managers. This year's Working Meeting carries the theme "Adaptive To Be a Champion" with key behaviors; Innovation, enthusiastic about change and proactive to become a champion in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Raker 2021 aims to socialize the RKAP of the GMS results, and to agree on detailed targets per division / unit to support the achievement of the company's targets set out in the RKAP. The subject matter of the raker is strategic in nature, which is an executive summary of the discussion of technical matters in the Pre-Meeting which was held on February 10 - 16, 2021. The main agenda for the 2021 Raker is the discussion of the 2021 strategic program, Signing the KPI Directors and Division / Unit KPIs, Launching of Contract Monitoring, and Presentation of Material from external speakers.

Raker 2021 begins with a directive speech from the Board of Directors by the COE of PT Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose. "There are three things that affect Pindad's performance, among others; the Covid-19 pandemic which is one year old, the Passing of the Job Creation Law which means that we have to compete and compete harder, and make innovations. The third is the formation of Industrial holding companies. "Defense is still under review along with strategic plans. This must be fully realized, understood by all PT Pindad officials so that we can step up and achieve the 2021 target," Abraham said in his direction.

The CEO then explained various strategic plans and steps to be taken in 2021.

After receiving directions from the CEO, Raker 2021 was continued with explanations by each Directorate through the related VP / GM to formulate the maximum corporate strategy to achieve PT Pindad (Persero) 's Vision: "To become Top 100 Global Defense Companies by 2024, With Offering High Quality Products and Solutions, Through Innovation and Strategic Partnerships ".

Abraham appreciated the performance of all employees and advised all company entities to be compact, focused and work hard in achieving the targets that have been set.

"At this meeting there are many things that are discussed and become a joint commitment to achieve the company's targets, criticism and suggestions of course for the improvement of the company. There are so many challenges with the Covid-19 pandemic that are still there so we must focus on commitments and targets and we carry out together "Thank you for your work, hard cooperation, smart work and staying enthusiastic to achieve the 2021 RKAP target," Abraham said.
