Pindad Held a Socialization of the Establishment of BUMN Holding of National Defence & High Technolo
PT Pindad (Persero) held a socialization event for the National Defense & High Technology Industry (NDHI) SOE Establishment in collaboration with the Ministry of SOEs in the Field of Mining, Strategic Industry and Media located in Grha Pindad, Bandung (8/14/19). All Directors and echelon 1 & 2 representatives of PT Pindad (Persero) were present at the socialization of the establishment of the NDHI BUMN holding. Assistant Deputy BUMN for Mining, Strategic Industries and Media, Heri Purnomo, and UMBRA legal consultant, Ahmad Zakaria, acted as speakers in the socialization activities.
This activity is part of the follow-up to the instructions of the Ministry of SOEs regarding the establishment of the NDHI BUMN holding. The purpose of this socialization activity is to provide information and form an understanding especially for all SOE staff and employees who are members of the NDHI holding.
In his remarks, President Director of PT Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose revealed that the socialization activities of the holding of the SOE National Defense & High-Technology Industry holding as an educational effort to all employees of PT Pindad (Persero).
"The NDHI holding holds a role as a national pride and defense industry. Through the formation of the NDHI holding, we have an effort to jointly be independent in the national defense industry," explained Abraham Mose in his remarks.
On this occasion, Assistant Deputy of SOEs in the Field of Mining, Strategic Industries and Media, Heri Purnomo discussed the formation of the NDHI Holding and strategies to enhance the role of the domestic defense industry.
"Through the formation of NDHI Holdings, the role and contribution of the defense industry will increase through the enhancement of the capabilities of each holding member and the synergy between fellow holding members," said Heri Purnomo in his presentation.
The socialization activity was then continued with legal and legal studies regarding the formation of NDHI holding by UMBRA legal consultant, Ahmad Zakaria.
"It must be stressed that the State will not lose control of PAL, Pindad, Len, Dahana, Inti, and Inuki after holding the Holding because the State still has dual shares in which important decisions can be made by PAL, Pindad, Len, Dahana, Inti and Inuki still need state approval, as dual-colored shareholders, "explained Ahmad Zakaria.
The outreach program then ended with a question and answer session as a material evaluation and formation of the NDHI holding. Heri Purnomo and Ahmad Zakaria also appreciated the active discussion and question and answer from PT Pindad (Persero) who were critical as well as developing the NDHI holding policy.
