Benchmarking on Public Information Disclosure, Pindad visits PT KAI (Persero)

In the framework of a comparative study on Public Information Disclosure (KIP), the Head of PPID PT Pindad (Persero), Krisna Cahyadianus accompanied by the Corporate Communications Manager, Komarudin and staff made a working visit to PT KAI (Persero) on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at the Head Office of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) (PT KAI) Bandung. This visit was welcomed by VP Corporate Document Management of PT KAI, Tatang Kusdiman, Manager of Information Public Care, Muhibbudin and the PPID Team of PT KAI.

The agenda for this working visit is to conduct a comparative study to the Department of Public Information Care/PPID of PT KAI (Persero) which has won the title of "Informative" and to exchange experiences & information regarding the management of Public Information Disclosure (KIP) at PT KAI (Persero).

Start the activity, Tatang Kusdiman was grateful for the visit of the PPID Team of PT Pindad (Persero) to PT KAI (Persero) and hoped that future coordination and collaboration between the two parties would be closer to create synergies and mutually develop more quality Information Disclosure services.

"Welcome to KAI's head office, we will share about PPID according to the government's mandate of UU KIP No. 14 of 2008. This year's theme is that KAI will be better and faster in any case, such as transparency," said Tatang Kusdiman.

In his speech, Krisna Cahyadianus expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the hospitality by PT KAI (Persero). "We carried out this visit as a benchmark to PT KAI where PT KAI has been good at managing KIP. We thank the VP Corporate Document Management and the staff who have welcomed us. We want to learn what kind of information can be published to the media according to SOE's direction. It is hoped that it can increase the level to be informative. We are very happy to be well received by PT KAI. Our visit is for our own benchmarks, especially how to manage media and news so that it is quite informative, "said Krisna Cahyadianus.

This year, Pindad experienced an increase in predicate compared to the previous year. Currently Pindad is in the category of "Sufficiently Informative" public agency and it is hoped that with this activity the company will gain knowledge so that it can move forward to get the KIP predicate to be informative.
