Reviewing Industrial Products, DPRD of East Tanjung Jabung Regency Visits Pindad

General Manager of Heavy Equipment of PT Pindad, Ikida Aryansyah and his staff welcomed a visit from DPRD of the East Tanjung Jabung Regency represented by the Chairperson of Commission 2 DPRD East Tanjung Jabung Regency, Ariandi as the group leader on Friday, January 20 2023 at Auditorium PT Pindad Bandung.

The purpose of this visit was in the framework of a working visit and continued cooperation after the previous year DPRD of East Tanjung Jabung has purchased Excava produced by PT Pindad.

Ikida Aryansyah in his speech expressed his appreciation to the DPRD of East Tanjung Jabung who visited PT Pindad and then briefly explained Pindad’s profile & products.

“It is an honor for us because DPRD of East Tanjung Jabung can visit PT Pindad in person to see our industrial products. Hopefully this first visit will not be the last visit and in the future we can work together and synergize in order for PT Pindad to also support the programs owned by DPRD East Tanjung Jabung regency. PT Pindad also has the ability to develop defense and security products and produce various industrial products such as Excava with various variants and Alsintan for agricultural needs.” Said Ikida.

The Chairperson of Commission 2 DPRD of East Tanjung Jabung, Ariandi in his remarks expressed his gratitude for the welcome that had been given by PT Pindad.

“East Tanjung Jabung Regency is a division of Tanjung Jabung regency in 1999-2000, the majority of whom were farmers, fishermen, and plantations. Therefore, industrial product that owned by PT Pindad, which are very closely related to the geographical conditions in our area, are felt to be able to support programs to develop East Tanjung Jabung regency. This is also in accordance with the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo to use domestic products to increase TKDN,” Ariandi explained.

After listening to a brief presentation regarding PT Pindad’s profile and products by Ikida Aryansyah, the activity was then followed by a visit to industrial production facilities.
