Reviewing Stungta, Vice Mayor of Bandung visits Pindad
Vice Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana along with Kejari of Bandung Iwa Suwia Pribawa, Dandenpom Kogartap II Lieutnant Colonel Pom Fernando Effendi and his entourage have a working visit to Pindad Office Bandung on Monday, July 5th, 2021. The visit of Vice Mayor of Bandung was welcomed by CEO of PT Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose; Chief Business of Industrial Product officer, Suharyono; Corporate Secretary, Krisna Cahyadianus; GM Industrial Equipment & Service, Andri Setiyoso and GM of Heavy Equipment, Cucun Kalsum. The visit was in order to review the product and technology development that is being carried out by Pindad.
In his remarks, Abraham Mose welcomed the Vice Mayor Yana Mulyana and his staff and thanked him for his time to visit Pindad. Abraham then explained a company profile of PT Pindad (Persero), start from defense and security products, to industrial products such as heavy equipment, machinery, and incinerator.
Vice Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana expressed his gratitude for a warm welcome from Pindad during the visit. Yana said that problems of Bandung could not be solved alone, there was a need for assistance from various parties. “We can’t solve the problems in Bandung alone, we need some help from various parties, one of which is Pindad as a strategic industry and has technology that hopefully can lead to collaborate between Bandung Government and Pindad,” said Yana Mulyana.
Garbage is one of the biggest problem that still gets government’s attention. Currently, Bandung produce aroud 1,500 tons per day. Yana Mulyana then mentioned that several Pindad products such as excavators and smokeless incinerator, which are the result of a collaboration between PT Pindad (Persero) and PT Top Tekno Indo, Stungta x Pindad, can be a solution in waste management in Bandung city.
After giving a speech and listening to a brief presentation about Pindad, the activity was then continued with plant tour to the production facilities of Heavy Equipment division, Special Vehicle division and Weapon division.
