CEO of Pindad welcomes employees that participating in Komcad 2021
CEO of PT Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose accompanied by the Director of Chief Business of Defense and Security Product officer, Wijil Jadmiko Budi; Chief of Technology and Development officer, Sigit P Santosa; Chief of Business Strategy officer, Syaifuddin and Echelon 1 officials welcomed the return of 31 Pindad employees who had finished carrying out the Basic Military Training (Latsarmil) and were designated as part of the Reserve Component (Komcad) on Monday, October 11, 2021 at Graha Pindad Bandung.
Previously, as many as 3,103 Komcad members in 2021 had been appointed directly by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo and Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto on October 7, 2021 at the Special Forces Education and Training Center (Pusdiklatpassus), Batujajar, Kab. West Bandung. The 3,103 members of the Komcad appointed consisted of Rindam Jaya, Rindam III/Siliwangi, Rindam IV/Diponegoro, Rindam V/Brawijaya, Rindam XII/Tanjungpura and the University of Defense.
In his remarks, Abraham Mose expressed his pride and gratitude for the participation of Pindad employees in Komcad 2021. He said that Komcad participants when they returned to the office were expected to "influence" the knowledge gained during their education.
“For 3 months, you have participated in national defense training as Komcad. PT Pindad (Persero) received appreciation from the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto for the extraordinary enthusiasm of Pindad employees to join Komcad. Then, why Komcad? What for? The principle is si vis pacem, para bellum. If we want peace, prepare for war. So when the country needs us, we are ready to lend a hand," he said.
After listening to the remarks from the CEO, the activity was continued by watching a demonstration of chants brought by members of the Pindad Komcad.
The number of Pindad employees who passed the selection stage and carried out Latsarmil were 31 people, including 26 people from Bandung and 5 people from Turen, East Java. The activity was carried out for a total of 4 months at Dodik Belanegara Rindam III/Siliwangi and Dodikjur V/Brawijaya, Malang, East Java.
