Transportation Infrastructure Division is a part of the business of PT. Pindad (Persero) which aims to face the demand and support local and export markets in the field of metal casting and forging services, support the development of Indonesian railways infrastructure through railway infrastructure products, and support shipping activities through ship equipment products.

Pindad started the business in the field of Railway Facilities and Infrastructure in 1983 and began to produce in 1984 by producing the DE-Clips Rail Fastener which is a license from Hollandia Kloos and Ewem AG.

On September 23rd, 1997, the signing of the Cooperation Agreement between Pindad and PT. KA to produce R&D for rail-type rail fastening products and the ownership rights of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero). Pindad patent no ID 0 007 930 on April 19th, 2000 issued a permit to use KA-Clip from the General Director of Railways of the Ministry of Transportation for use in projects within the Directorate General of Railways and in the work area of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero).

In January 2008, the development was carried out again by producing an e-Clip rail type fastening device, then a track test was carried out and in 2010, the permit for use and endorsement was recommended by the General Director of Railways of the Ministry of Transportation No. KA.405 / SK.10 / DJKA / II / 10

Our Rail Fastener is very competitive and built in high quality. We use both International and National Standards such as AREMA / AREA Standards, SNI Standards, and supported by experienced human resources with proven abilities and expertise.

Ship Equipment Products originated from an established partnership with Hatlapa. Pindad has been developing various ship equipment products since 1991 under the name PinMarine. Supported by great human resources, good production system and quality control, PinMarine is able to produce quality and competitive products, as well as meeting National & International classification requirements, such as BKI, LR, ClassNK, BV, RINA, GL, ABS, and others.
