Defence Management Leadership Course of Ministry of Defence Participants Visit to PT Pindad (Persero

About 31 participants of Defence Management Leadership Course of Ministry of Defence visited PT Pindad (Persero) on July 4^th 2013. The group which led by Colonel Arief Susilo, directly accepted by Deputy Director of Resources Development, Yayat Ruyat at Auditorium Gedung Direktorat.

This visit was a part of the annual Leadership Course and aimed to know about the management practical which done at PT Pindad (Persero). PT Pindad considered suitable as the strategic industry company which producing weaponry system products with a good management process inside. The management process that was wanted to know further by the leadership course participants with a hope there was a knowledge that could be applied if they assumed a position at the future.

When the question and answer session began, the participants was enthusiastically asked about how PT Pindad applying a good management process until successfully produced many weaponry system products and became a leading products for Indonesia defence industry. Product materials, product certification, until the reinforcement the sense of nationalism of the employees been a points which asked by the participants.

The participants continued the event by visited PT Pindad production facilities. The first facilities that was visited was the assembling building of Panser at Special Vehicle Division. At there, the participants could directly see how parts by parts were assembled into one unit of panser.  

After that, the participants also visited the weapon display room which displayed the weapon products which produced by PT Pindad. They also got an opportunity to try a performance from some PT Pindad
(Persero) weapons at Weapon Division shooting area.

Hopefully all the information which got by the participants could be a meaningful knowledge for the participants and could be applied at the future. (Anggia)
