Pindad Will Produce Automatic Hygienist Cooking Oil Filling Machine

PT Pindad (Persero) established synergies in the production and sale of Automatic Hygienic Cooking Oil Filling Machine (AMH-o) with PT Rekayasa Engineering which is a subsidiary of PT Rekayasa Industri. Pindad's CEO, Abraham Mose signed a cooperation agreement on August 16, 2018 at the Bandung Pindad Head Office.

This collaboration is a synergy of BUMN which aims to meet the needs of Filling Machine for cooking oil with simple packaging for the domestic market. Machines designed to maintain the hygiene of retail cooking oil and reduce the use of plastic bags also increase the margins of retailers themselves.

Abraham Mose said that this synergy could be useful to help the Government produce hygienic oil, reach the community and increase its economic value.

"This is a milestone. To be able to produce products that can help the Government how to make hygienic oil platforms and its many benefits, especially for the community. This is good cooperation, "Abraham said.

Pindad who has an Industrial Business Directorate in addition to Defense and Security will play a role in providing production facilities, assembly facilities, qualified human resources, and will carry out assembly, production and product packaging at the Bandung pindad factory. The reliability of Pindad to carry out the production process need not be questioned anymore because the Directorate of Industrial Business has been able to produce various heavy equipment products such as excavators, agricultural machinery, marine equipment, railway infrastructure, generators, electric motors and forging & cast products.

AMH-o is made in order to fulfill the Republic of Indonesia's Minister of Trade Regulation number 9 / MDAG / PER / 2/2016 which requires the distribution of bulk cooking oil using simple packaging bags. AMH-o's work system is to distribute cooking oil in 18 or 25 liter jerry cans in accordance with the Manufacturers trademark into a packaging bag in several doses ranging from 250, 500 to 1,000 ml, through a filling oil system consisting of pumps, flexible pipes, solenoid valves and flow meter.

All components in AMH-o meet food grade standards. AMH-o operation is controlled by a microcomputer to ensure measurement accuracy. The microcomputer embedded in AMH-o is an electronic display board that has several buttons that are easy to operate (user friendly). In addition, AMH-o is also equipped with a GPS module that can help cooking oil producers to monitor the location of AMH-o units and the volume of sales of cooking oil, daily, weekly or monthly.

AMH-o is targeted to launch at the end of 2018 in Bandung and will invite the Minister of Industry & Trade and dozens of representatives of cooking oil producers in Indonesia to show that the domestic industry is able to produce quality cooking oil filling machines.
