Pindad Raih 3 Penghargaan Di BUMN Branding & Marketing Award 2018
PT Pindad (Persero) won three award categories at the prestigious 2018 BUMN Branding & Marketing Award event held on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at JS Luwansa Hotel, Jakarta. PT Pindad won the category of The Best Marketing, The Best Brand Identity and The Best Chief Marketing Officer for Sector Agro, Manufacturing & Mining.
The Director of Defense Products, Widjajanto received an award which this year was attended by more than 80 BUMN and its subsidiaries. Widjajanto said that this award is a testament to the performance of all components of PT Pindad by adhering to the company's values ??so that it is appreciated by the 2018 BUMN Branding & Marketing Award.
"Alhamdulillah, thanks to the hard work, smart work of all PT Pindad employees from the Board of Commissioners, Directors and all PT Pindad employees this year at the BUMN Branding & Marketing Award event received 3 categories namely best brand identity, best marketing award and best CMO. This award is a testimony from the public of the success of the transformation that took place at PT Pindad in carrying out the spirit of Honesty, Learning, Excellence and Congratulations (JBUS) not just being a credo but becoming a role model for us all in working and producing the best products, "said Widjajanto.
Appreciation received will encourage all company people to improve performance as an effort to realize the independence of the domestic defense industry.

This award was organized by BUMN Track in collaboration with Arrbey Consulting with the theme "Seizing the Opportunity of the Industrial Age 4.0 Through Strengthening Indonesian Brands". The judging process took place on 16-18 October 2018 with the committee of experts in their fields headed by academics and business management practitioners, Rhenald Kasali.
The Editor in Chief of BUMN Track, Akhmad Kusaeni, said that the event was aimed at measuring the competitiveness of state-owned branding and marketing actors in order to exchange ideas, thoughts, experiences, and be an inspiration for other BUMNs. Besides that, he also expressed his appreciation to state-owned enterprises and state-owned subsidiaries who have shown their best performance in facing competition and competition in the global market in the era of industry 4.0 through strengthening brands.
The challenges of state-owned enterprises and BUMN subsidiaries in the industrial era 4.0 are to anticipate all changes that occur, be able to adjust themselves and be able to carefully reach the opportunities available.
