Those various cooperations aiming for capacity building and technology enhancement for Pindads personnel to get adequate preparation prior to entering global supply chain of the worlds defence industry.

Global partnership is only one of Pindads business strategies. Through a relentless support by Indonesian government, the company has encouraged its engineers to build their own defence system for domestic market. For example, armored personal carrier called Anoa, or tactical command vehicle called Komodo. On top of it Pindad has secured TNIs order to conduct retrofit program for its AMX-13 tanks. The aging tank has been completely modified from its engines, transmission system, electronic equipment and a new turret to accommodate a 105mm canon.
